Aquatic Center~ 110 E. Maplewood Street, call (402) 266-3001;  Opened in July of 2009, the pool has a zero entry , a toddler slide and a handicapped wheel chair.  The hours of operation are 1-5:30 and 6-8:30 closed Sat. evening.
There will be a limited concessions available.

Exeter-Milligan Public School Sports

Summer recreation abounds with league play in softball and baseball for a variety of age groups. Youth can participate in programs such as 4-H, Boy and Girl Scouts, church schools, day camps, and more.

Geneva's Main City Park is located at 13th and E Streets. The park contains new handicapped accessible playground equipment, ball fields, new tennis courts, basketball hoop, horseshoes, a sand volleyball court, an outdoor swimming pool, and picnic facilities. Additionally, Geneva has one indoor swimming pool and a 9-hole, grass green, country club golf course.

The mission of the Geneva Activity & Education Department is to improve the educational, recreational and entertainment opportunities for people of all ages by the coordination and cooperation of city, school and community resources. More Information.


Playground equipment, tennis courts and picnic facilities are available at the parks within the community, as well as Softball, Indoor & Outdoor Basketball, and Horseshoes.

Community activities are available in the J. R. Veach Grafton School / Community Center located at 260 N. Washington. The community center is available for rent and can be used by community members. For further information, contact the village office at (402) 282-7378.


"Milligan Community Park" has a shelter with electricity and 8-10 picnic tables,
a new play structure & new swing set. The Community Park is located on N Street (State Hwy Spur 30H).
Baseball and football fields are at the West end of 6th street.

Centennial Garden has a stage and picnic table seating and is located behing the Auditorium
l (6th Street under the water tower).


Ohiowa City Park and ball field, including Baseball, Softball, Outdoor Basketball, Tennis, Horseshoes.
The Village Auditorium is available to rent for dances, receptions, meetings, etc. on a daily basis. Phone (402) 295-2243 for more information.

Lone Star Recreation Area  is a 160-acre area that is four miles east of Ohiowa and features a 75-acre spring-fed-lake. Camping, boating, fishing, swimming and hiking are available.Tent camping is free, RV camping is $15 a night. No reservations.


Westside Park, 502 N Peach, provides a pool, large shelter with electricity, playground equipment, grills, tables, tennis courts, basketball court and dunk hoop. To reserve the shelter contact Village Office (402)627-2055 or email villageofshickley at
A small park with playground equipment is located near the center of town on North Railroad Street. Electrical hookups for campers and water hydrants are available.
A Ball Park with grass outfield features modern concession stand, restrooms, good lighting and ample seating for spectators. It is available for all ages of ball teams and is busy most of the summer. A batting cage was installed thanks to donations and efforts of the Shickley American Legion


Strang's City Park is located along Main Street between Sharon and Racine Streets. The park has Basketball, Tennis, Horseshoes and is equipped with picnic tables, grills and hook-up facilities for campers. 
Pumper Park, a children's playground area, is located beside the ball field.
Elmer Messman Memorial Field is the entertainment center for softball and baseball teams and fans of all ages. For more information contact Wayne Matejka at (402) 759-4853.
A basketball and tennis court, adjacent to the school, are always open to the public.
